After days of contemplating the RIGHT decision to make regarding opening or closing the pizzeria, Holly and I have made our decision. We will remain open with normal operating hours. We feel that we are doing a valuable service to the community by providing necessary food to those who need. We will however keep a small staff for delivery and pick up only.
We will continue to clean and disinfect all customer and staff contacts. Staff will wear gloves and hats and change frequently. If any staff member feels any sign of illness, they will remain at home.
This is not a monetary decision. This is about doing the RIGHT thing as entrepreneurs in the community we live and love. In fact, money is the last thing on our mind in this decision. If anyone who is working and needs us to deliver food to their children who are home, we will do so. Money is not necessary and the honor system will work. It always has for us. If you need us to send food to grandparents or senior relatives and drop on porch, ring and run with less contact, no problem. Honor system again if necessary. Of course easy user friendly online ordering is available for pickup and delivery and always has been. Delivery out to your car for pick up is also an option for less contact if desired.
As a teacher of entrepreneurship at both the high school and college level, I always teach my students that being an entrepreneur is not just about money, it’s about providing jobs, boosting the economy, providing a necessary and safe place for the community. It’s about giving the community the necessities they need and pride in yourself knowing that you are doing the RIGHT thing for your staff and customers who depend on you. Holly and I are here for Spring Lake, Heights, Sea Girt, Manasquan, Wall, Belmar, Lake Como, Brielle and Avon.
If anyone needs food, water or anything we can help with, please reach out. Don’t worry about money. Pay us when you can. We are here to do the RIGHT thing as entrepreneurs in the community we love.
Choose your chicken dish, eggplant, pasta and meat. We will provide the salad, bread and garlic knots.
